Eek–October is over! How did that “happen”? My favorite thing from my October Ipsy bag……
Meet Matt(e) Hughes in Committed by The Balm cosmetics. I am just calling this heaven in a bottle. The color is a perfect peachy rose. The formula goes on super smooth. The matte is matte without being dry and flakey even after wearing for hours on end. There is a hint of a chocolate-mint smell which is just my favorite thing. I find myself wearing this every single day and I will be purchasing a few other colors to add to my collection!
Til next time my lovelies–
While anxiously awaiting my October Ipsy bag full of treats, I cast my mind back and think of the goodies from my September bag. Hopefully this will help pass the time until my new bag arrives! My favorite thing from September was this brush!
I must confess that this fave was a no-brainer as I am obsessed with brushes! Especially brushes with dual ends and purposes. The larger side is soft and gives great coverage all over the eye. The smaller side is firm and perfect at contouring. Pairing this up with my new Avon palette Warm Sunrise ensures a beautiful fall!
Till next time enjoy beautiful blessings!
Wow-time flys when you are thinking about what to do with your blog! Taking a bit of the old with a dash of the new and hopefully something beautiful will emerge! Hope you join me! First up! A picture from my most recent AVON Girl’s Night Out party. I had such a great time the first time I decided to do it again. Hopefully I can stop chatting long enough to get some people pictures!!

Do you ever have those days when you set out to do one thing, but end up doing something completely different?
That is how this makeup design happened.
I gathered my ideas, listened to inspirational music, pinned images, sketched out the design yet during the application process something changed.
Something magically creative happened.
I love being in the moment and letting inspiration flow through me. I love the end result, looking at the finished product and finding out I like it just a bit more that my original idea.
Oh to be able to bottle these magically creative moments!!
For now I will have to settle for taking pictures to remember these moments by!
Happy Mani Monday–pm edition!
Thought I would shake things up a bit and do an evening post.
Okay-totally overslept the alarm this morning hence the evening post.
This is my last fall inspired mani for this year and I took this inspiration from my favorite fall drink – Hot Cocoa! I used a dark brown and lovely rich purple which by the way would make a great duo for eyeshadow.
Products used: AVON Forbidden Fudge and Decadence.
Enjoy the last week of November and check back for this month’s fantasy makeup segment! I am very excited to share it with you!
See you next Mani Monday with Christmas Nails!!

I absolutely love Thanksgiving week. It’s like the calm before the storm of activity hits with a bonus of especially good food and fellowship.
So, what is everyone thankful for this year?
I am thankful for my friends both old and new, my family, and my faith.
I am also thankful for a great set of nails.
All colors are from Avon:
Barefoot Beige, Lucky Penny, Gleaming Gold, Midnight Green, and Forbidden Fudge.
Wishing you a blessed, fun, and safe week!
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Below is my rendition of this technique but check out NOTD: Dip Dye to see where the inspiration began!
